Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification : High School (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Technical Qualification : Regular ITI Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades:
  • Plant Assistant (Mechanical - P01) : Machinist / Fitter / Welder / Turner.
  • Plant Assistant (Electrical - P02) : Electrician.

How to Apply

1. Visit the Official Portal : Go to the MP Online Chayan Portal.
2. Locate the Advertisement : Find the notification for Plant Assistant (Advt. No. 5560 dated 27/11/2025).
3. Register/Login : Register using a mobile number and email ID, then log in to fill out the application.
4. Fill Application : Enter accurate details regarding qualifications and personal information.
5. Upload Documents : Upload the required photograph, signature, and educational/caste certificates.
6. Pay Fee & Submit : Pay the required application fee (e.g., Rs. 600/- for reserved categories) and submit the form.
7. Download Receipt : Save a copy of the final application for future reference.

Selection Process

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) : The main selection hurdle, a CBT covering technical and general sections.
• Exam Pattern : Consists of 100 questions; for technical roles, this usually includes 75 technical questions and 25 general aptitude questions.
• Marking Scheme : Each question carries 1 mark, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
• Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates based on merit are called for verification of educational, caste, and domicile certificates.
• Eligibility Criteria : High School pass + ITI (SCVT/NCVT) in the relevant trade, aged 18–40 years as of 01-01-2025.
• Training Period : Selected candidates undergo a 9-month training period.
