OTR Registration (Mandatory) : Visit the official UPPRPB website (uppbpb.gov.in) and click on "One Time Registration (OTR)" to create a unique candidate profile. Access Application Form : Log in using your OTR credentials and select the "Computer Operator Grade-A Recruitment 2025" link. Fill Application Form : Carefully enter your educational qualifications (12th with PCM), personal details, and address. Upload Documents : Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and educational certificates as per the specified format. Pay Application Fee : Pay the required fee (₹400–₹500) through online modes (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI). Submit & Print : Submit the form and download the final confirmation page for future reference.
Selection Process
Written Examination : A 2-hour, 160-question objective (OMR-based) test totaling 200 marks (1.25 marks per correct answer). Subjects include General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Reasoning, and Computer Science. Computer Typing Test : A qualifying test to evaluate typing speed (25 wpm Hindi, 30 wpm English) and accuracy (minimum 85%). Document Verification (DV) : Review of original academic, category, and technical qualification certificates. Medical Exam & Character Verification : Final screening for medical fitness to serve in the UP Police.
