ECGC PO Age Limit (As of 01/09/2024)

Candidates who completed 21 years of age and do not exceed 30 years of age are eligible to apply for the ECGC PO Recruitment 2024. Relaxation in the upper age limit of the candidates belonging to the reserved category is applicable as per Govt. of India Norms.

ECGC PO Age Limit Nationality / Citizenship

a Citizen of India or
a subject of Nepal or
a subject of Bhutan or
a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belongs to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

ECGC PO 2024 Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the ECGC PO Recruitment 2024 will be done in the following stages:

Online Test ( Objective & Descriptive )
Interview

The marks weightage of the Online Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The candidate must qualify for both stages to get selected.

ECGC PO 2024 Salary

The ECGC PO Salary starts at Rs. 53,600/- per month. Candidates selected as Probationary Officer in ECGC will be provided with a pay scale of Rs. 53600-2645(14)-90630 2865(4)-102090. The salary includes allowances and benefits provided by the ECGC for its Executive Officers like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance / HouseLease Reimbursement, Transport Allowance, Medical Allowance, Newspaper Allowance, Meal coupons, Reimbursement of Mobile Bills, Mobile Handset & Briefcase Allowance, Furniture Allowance, Household help Allowance, etc.
