How to Apply
Visit Official Portal : Go to the official website: sssc.gov.in. Select Post : Look for the link "Stenographer Grade III – Haryana". Registration : Click on "New Registration" to fill in basic details and generate a registration ID and password. Fill Application Form : Login using the generated credentials and complete the application form with personal, educational, and communication details. Upload Documents : Upload scanned copies of the required documents, such as photograph and signature. Fee Payment : Pay the application fee through the available online payment methods. Final Submission : Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.
Selection Process
Stage 1 : Computer-Based Test (CBT) : This consists of 60 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) focusing on English Composition and General Knowledge. Duration : 1 hour. Marks : 60. Negative Marking : None. Stage 2 : English Shorthand & Transcription Test : Candidates qualifying the CBT will take a shorthand test, requiring dictation at 80 W.P.M. and transcription at 20 W.P.M.. Qualification Criterion : A maximum of 8% mistakes is allowed to qualify. Stage 3 : Spreadsheet Test : A 10-minute, 10-mark test. Candidates must secure 40% or more (minimum 4 marks) to qualify. Final Selection : Based on merit from the combined performance in the tests, final result will be declared.
