Bihar ITI CAT

• Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10th (High School) examination from any recognized board. For more details regarding eligibility, candidates should read the official notification carefully.

How to Apply

• Registration : Go to the official website and click on the "Online Application Form for ITICAT 2026" link. Register using a valid mobile number and email ID to generate user credentials.
• Fill Application Form (Part A) : Log in and enter personal information accurately.
• Upload Documents (Part B) : Upload scanned images of your photo, signature, and other required documents (e.g., educational certificates).
• Educational Details (Part C) : Enter your educational qualifications (minimum 8th/10th class as required).
• Preview and Application Fee (Part D) : Preview the filled form, make corrections if necessary, and pay the application fee online (net banking, credit/debit card) before April 26, 2026.
• Final Submission & Print : Submit the final form and print the completed application (Part A and Part B) for future reference.

Selection Process

Entrance Examination (Offline)

The first step is appearing for the OMR-based written exam.

• Subjects : Mathematics (50 Qs), General Science (50 Qs), and General Knowledge (50 Qs).

• Total : 150 Questions | 300 Marks.

• Key Detail : There is no negative marking, so you can safely attempt all questions.

Merit List & Rank Card

After the exam, the BCECEB releases a result based on your performance.

• You will receive a Rank Card showing your position at both the State and District levels.

• Selection is strictly based on this rank and your category (General, BC, EBC, SC, ST, etc.).

Online Counseling (Choice Filling)

Once you have your rank, you must participate in the online counseling process.

• Registration : Log in to the portal to register for counseling.

• Choice Filling : Select your preferred ITI Colleges and Trades (e.g., Electrician, Fitter) in order of preference.

• Locking : You must lock your choices before the deadline.

Seat Allotment

The board will release seat allotment results based on:

1. Your Rank.

2. Availability of seats (out of the 33,108 available).

3. The choices you filled during counseling.

Document Verification & Admission

If you are allotted a seat, you must report to the designated center for physical verification.

• Required Docs : 10th Marksheet, ITICAT Admit Card, Rank Card, Domicile/Caste certificates, and Photographs.

• Final Step : Once documents are verified, you pay the admission fee at the college to secure your seat.
