How to Apply

  • Registration : Click on the recruitment link for "Clerks & Steno-Typists (English) - 2026." You will need to provide basic details to create a login ID and password.
  • Fill the Form : Log in and complete the application form with your personal details, permanent address, and educational qualifications (12th class/Bachelor's degree as required).
  • Upload Documents : Ensure you have scanned copies of your photograph and signature ready in the prescribed format specified on the portal.
  • Fee Payment :
    • General/OBC/EWS : ₹1000/-
    • SC/Ex-Servicemen/PwD : ₹500/-
    • Pay the fee through the online link provided (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card).
  • Final Submission : Review all entries carefully before clicking "Submit." Download and print the confirmation page and the fee receipt for your records.

Selection Process

Written Competitive Examination

The examination is conducted in two sessions on the same day, with a total of 200 marks available.

  • Format : The test is OMR-based and consists of two papers, each lasting two hours.

  • Language : The medium of the examination is English.

  • Marking : Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.

First Paper (Morning Session : 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon)
  • English (up to 12th level) : 40 marks.

  • General Knowledge : 40 marks.

  • Computer Proficiency : 20 marks.

Second Paper (Evening Session : 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM)
  • Mathematics (up to 10th level) : 40 marks.

  • Statistics (up to 10th level) : 30 marks.

  • Aptitude (Reasoning Verbal & Non-verbal) : 30 marks.

Skill Tests (Qualifying Only)

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be invited for the following skill tests based on the post applied for:

  • Clerk Typing Test : A speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English on a computer is required.

  • Steno-Typist Test :

    • Stenography : Dictation for 10 minutes at a speed of 80 w.p.m..

    • Transcription : 50 minutes to transcribe the dictation on a computer in English.

Final Selection and Document Verification
  • Merit List : Final selection is based on the performance in the written examination, provided the candidate passes the required skill tests.

  • ICT Skill Course : At the time of appointment, you must provide a certificate for an ICT Training Course (CCC) of at least 80 hours from a recognized institution.

  • Document Verification (DV) : Original documents, including educational certificates and reservation category proofs, will be verified after the final results are declared.
