Written Exam Pattern

How to Apply

• Download the Form : Visit the official website ambala.dcourts.gov.in and download the prescribed application format from the "Recruitment" section.
• Fill the Details : Fill in your Bio-Data (Name, DOB, Qualification, Category, etc.) in capital letters as per your official documents.
• Attach Documents : Attach self-attested copies of your educational certificates (Graduation degree), matriculation certificate (for Hindi/Sanskrit proof), and category certificates.
• Add Photographs : Affix one recent passport-size photograph on the form and attach two additional self-addressed envelopes with proper postage stamps.
• Label the Envelope : Place all documents in an envelope and clearly write "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CLERK ON ADHOC BASIS" on the top.
• Submit Application : Send the envelope via Registered Post/Courier or submit it By Hand to the address :

Selection Process

• Step 1 : Written Examination – Candidates must pass a 100-mark exam covering General Knowledge (50 marks) and English Composition (50 marks).

• Step 2 : Minimum Qualifying Marks – You must score at least 33% in each subject and a minimum of 40% in aggregate to pass.

• Step 3 : Shortlisting for CPT – A limited number of successful candidates from the written exam are called for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

• Step 4 : Computer Typing Test – Candidates must demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute (WPM) in English on the computer.

• Step 5 : Document Verification & Merit List – Final selection is made strictly on the basis of merit from candidates who qualify for the computer test.
