RPF Selection Process 2024

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) recruitment typically includes multiple stages to assess candidates for various positions, such as Constables and Sub-Inspectors. Check the details given below.

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Phase I : Initial online exam covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Phase II : Qualified candidates from CBT undergo activities like running, long jump, and high jump. Physical standards vary by post.
• Document Verification : Candidates provide the necessary documents to confirm eligibility.
• Medical Examination : Successful candidates from document verification undergo a medical check to meet the required standards.

RPF Exam Pattern 2024

To be selected for an RPF constable or SI post, you must pass a computer-based online exam. The following is the RPF Exam Pattern 2024 for Constable and SI posts. 

• There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
• The duration of the exam is 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Mins).
• The Exam shall be computer-based and questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
• The difficulty level of the questions for the Constable post will be as per class 10th (Matriculation).
• The difficulty level of the questions for the SI post will be Graduation.

The final stage of selection will be the document verification round. Candidates who will clear all the stages will reach the DV round. In this round, the documents of the candidates like mark sheets, caste certificates, NOC Letters, and other important documents will be checked. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents as per the stated date will be disqualified.
