Selection Process
The selection process for the IOCL Non-Executive Personnel (Refineries Division) Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages: Computer-Based Test (CBT) : Candidates have to appear for an objective-type online exam consisting of 100 questions (75 on Subject Knowledge, 15 on Numerical Ability, and 10 on General Awareness). Shortlisting : Candidates have to secure a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/PwBD) in the CBT to be considered for the next stage. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) : Shortlisted candidates have to undergo an SPPT, which is qualifying in nature and tests practical skills or physical fitness depending on the post. Document Verification (DV) : Candidates have to produce original certificates regarding age, qualification, experience, and caste for verification during the SPPT stage. Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) : Candidates have to meet the medical fitness standards prescribed by IOCL to be considered for final appointment. Final Merit List : Candidates are selected based on their CBT scores, provided they have qualified in the SPPT and are declared medically fit.
