• Visit Official Website : Go to the official website of the Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (SSSC).
• Locate the Link : Click on "Stenographer Grade-III Subordinate Courts of Punjab".
• Registration : Click on "New Registration" to fill in basic details and generate a unique Registration ID and password.
• Fill Application Form : Login using the credentials and fill in the detailed application form.
• Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of the photograph (real-time capture required), signature, and other required documents.
• Pay Fee : Pay the examination fee via Net banking, UPI, or Debit/Credit Card.
• Submit and Print : Submit the final application and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference

Selection Process

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) : Covers English Composition & General Knowledge (60 Questions, 1 hour, no negative marking).
• Skill Test : English Shorthand dictation at 80 WPM and transcription at 20 WPM.
• Mistake Threshold : Candidates must have less than 8% mistakes in the shorthand test to pass.
• Spreadsheet Test : A qualifying test requiring 4 out of 10 marks.
• Final Merit : Based on performance in the English Shorthand & Transcription Test.
• Exam Dates (2025) : The exam for Punjab is scheduled for July 6, 2025.
• Eligibility : Graduation degree and proficiency in computers.
• Age Limit : 18 to 37 years.
