Major Changes in SBI PO 2025 : 

From this year onwards, the State Bank of India (SBI) has implemented major changes and the same has been notified through SBI PO Notification 2025. The following changes has been observed- 

1. The initial basic pay has been increased to Rs 48,480/- and the per month in-hand salary ranges between Rs. 84000 to 85000. 
2. There will be sectional cut-off in mains exams.
3. In prelims, the number of questions of English section has been increased to 40 and for Reasoning and Quantitative decreased to 30. 
4. In mains, the number of objective-type questions have been increased to 170 which was earlier 150 and for descriptive test number of questions is not mentioned. 

Any candidate applying for SBI PO exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria which include the fulfillment of the following as per the SBI PO Notification 2025:

SBI PO Age Limit (As on 1/4/2024) : 

The minimum age limit to apply for the SBI PO 2025 examination is 21 years to 30 years old at the time of registration. Candidates must have been born between 02.04.1994 and 01.04.2003, inclusive of both dates. Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category-wise candidates as per the government norms for SBI PO.

1. The candidates must hold Indian Citizenship
2. A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Note: Candidates belonging to categories 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor if willing to apply for SBI PO 2025.

SBI PO Qualification (As on 30/4/2025) :

1. A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
2. Final Year/Semester candidates can also apply only if they produce proof of their graduation on the date of the interview.

SBI PO Selection Process 2025 :

1. Prelims: Qualifying round; marks not added to the final merit list. Top 10x the vacancies (approx.) shortlisted for Mains.
2. Main: Category-wise merit list prepared based on Mains marks. Top 3x the vacancies (approx.) shortlisted for Group Exercise & Interview.
3. Group Discussion & Interview: This stage include a Psychometric Test for personality profiling. Final stage includes Group Exercise and Interview, with marks combined with Mains to determine final selection.

SBI PO 2025 Exam Pattern (Revised) : 

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2025 covers two phases for online exams, Prelims and mains. This will be followed by an interview. The structure of the examination includes the number of questions, total marks, sections, and the duration of the examination.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025 :

1. This will have 3 sections and each section will have to be completed in 20 Minutes.
2. The total marks of the SBI PO Prelims Exam are 100 Marks while the duration of the exam is 1 Hour.
3. There is no sectional cut off.
4. There will be a penalty of 0.25 Marks for every incorrect answer.

SBI PO Salary 2025 : 

SBI PO offers a great salary and profile to candidates in public sector banks. The revised SBI PO Salary is Rs 48,480. The pay scale is 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. The approximate Cost to Company (CTC) at the initial scale in the Mumbai Centre is ₹18.67 lakhs. Along with the salary, the candidates will enjoy several allowances like Dearness Allowance, HRA, CCA Medical Allowances, and Several Other facilities.
