  2. One-Time Registration (OTR) : Click on "Sign Up" to create a username and password if you are a new user.
  3. Fill Profile Details : Log in and complete your profile, including personal details, educational qualifications, and work experience.
  4. Upload Documents : Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  5. Apply for Post : Go to the "Apply" section, choose the relevant PGT Post Code (e.g., 26017/26018/26019/26020), and select your preferred exam district.
  6. Review and Submit : Carefully review all details in the Online Recruitment Application (ORA).
  7. Pay Fee : Pay the required application fee through the online payment gateway (credit card, debit card, or net banking).
  8. Final Submission : Submit the form and download/print the confirmation copy for future reference .

Selection Process

Screening Test (Written/CBT)

This is the primary stage used to shortlist candidates for further verification.

  • Mode : Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR-based written screening test.

  • Duration : 1.5 Hours (90 minutes).

  • Total Marks : 120 Marks.

  • Question Type : Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions).

  • Marking Scheme : Negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers.

  • Qualifying Marks : General Category : 45%

    • Reserved Categories : 40%

Evaluation & Normalization

For exams conducted in multiple shifts, the Aayog uses the Z-score normalization method to ensure fairness across different difficulty levels of question papers.

Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and fall within the merit zone are called for a physical verification of their credentials.

  • Required Documents : Original Master’s Degree, B.Ed. degree, HP TET Certificate, and category-specific certificates (if applicable).

  • Eligibility Check : Ensuring the candidate meets the age criteria (18–45 years) and educational marks (minimum 50% in PG and B.Ed.).
